30 Jan Me Myself & I -Why Celebrating Yourself Is Important
There are many things in life that we consider important. We all have different priorities. But there is one fundamental thing that is important that we probably let fall by the way side more often than we should. That is because we are so busy with life and what needs to be done. We forget to look after ourselves and invest in us. The most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself. You are with you from the moment you are born until the moment you die. So it is important to nourish yourself the best way you know how and you do what you can. There are 24 hours in a day. Surely in that time you can pencil in a few moments for yourself. It doesn’t have to be something epic, it can be something simple. Like sit in the sun with a coffee, maybe treat yourself a manicure or watch your favourite movie in the evening. Its time out for you and you are giving to you. Celebrating who you are makes not only feel good inside it reflects on the outside too. We all have flaws and we have all made mistakes. Life is a journey and we are all learning as we go along. You need to make yourself a priority and make you happy. Seeking that from someone and something wont bring you lasting happiness. But finding it in you and doing things for yourself is a way of fulfilling and having love and respect for the person you are. When you have that then that allows others to show you and treat you the same. The main point being me myself and I. Once me myself and I is sorted then you can be what you have to be for others. Be the best version of yourself. That is the greatest gift you can give yourself. Make time for yourself. Make that a priority to do. For yourself, your soul, your spirit. Give yourself permission to do and have the things you want. Whether it starts with a coffee break or two then extends to more time and things on your list. Always remember that a happy you brings more happy surroundings. Make a me, myself and I priority list and make a decision to factor in me time as much as you can. You deserve to be celebrated. It’s no good to you or anyone if you are stressed, flustered and upset so make yourself happy first.
