The New Year Is Like A New Oyster

The New Year Is Like A New Oyster

There is something about the turning of a new year that rings a little hope, dreams and desires in many. The thought or longing for something or someone to come true. This time of the year can also be quite reflective and to some degree  bring a sense of regret or hoping that the year to come is better than the one they have experienced . What didn’t I get to do? Why didn’t I give that a chance? Why did I wait so long? Will I give it a go in the new year? So many questions and so many thoughts about the what’s and if’s. It is a great feeling to be filled with hope. Its also nice to have your wish list for the year ahead. A new year is like an oyster. Fresh, untouched and ready for the taking. A new canvas just like a freshly shucked oyster is something to look forward to and an experience to be had. You can get an odd one every now and then, this would symbolize life’s ebbs and flows. The world can be your oyster if you let it. If you state your intention add action and emotion to it and you could just as well be on your way to fulfilling a dream. The new year brings hope, clarity, intention and expectation. Be open to what it is to bring. Stay focused on what you want and how you want to get it. Just flow with it. Be the oyster pearl of your life.

We all set goals at the beginning of the year, only to break them 4 days later. If you truly want something then you go for it. Give life a go. Let the new page of the new year give you the tenacity and the learnings to keep going and keep turning. May  this new year exceed all your hopes and  dreams.
